
The background: I asked for permission to use this logo design that my daughter had put on a ukulele she built. I think she knew what I was thinking of doing. She said yes and the design work and sawing started.

Once sawing was done, the placement & soldering of the four layers of 22 gauge sterling started. Then I proceeded to filing, sanding and bending into a ring for the final solder joint. After cleaning, the ring mandrel was used to shape and size the ring.

I need to get a stronger visor magnifier lens and/or inspect an enlarged photo to see the “super fine” details. Remember the ring is only 3/8 of an inch tall at the center of the “HL” initials.
