From an old design I drew for a jeweler friend of mine to make. I ended making it out of four layers of sterling 24ga.

I learned more about metalsmithing doing this project. Lots of soldering practice and fine sawing. It was fun to make and it took this beginner about 7 hours, in total. One item I am thinking about adding is if I make a small steel stamp to hash-mark the basket weave going under the top strand it would increase the pattern. It looks better in real life at scale, and not the surfaces are not freshly polished.
